I had leather-rendering fun yesterday..

I've painted out the watercolor pencil with a sumi brush then spent 2-3 hours going back in with pencil. He's too purple at the moment but that won't last long ;)

I couldn't leave this alone for long..here's what an evening brought to it.

he's nearly complete ;) I've painted his shirt and pants with white acrylic and his tie with transparent dyes.

I revised his left nipple and am getting a better handle on the lighting and his 3-dimensionality. still a little ways to go.
